Korea.
For the exact. South Korea.
Can
you imagine about this? A country with a very strong culture but also
technologically advanced. Yes, we can say Japan but yes, we talked about South
Korea here ^ _ ^
Korea,
a country which is called Han Country is being kicked off the world! :) Its all happened because K-wave, spread of South Korean culture around the
world. K-wave characterized by the proliferation of music performed by the
musicians of Korean origin. The namja
and yeoja celebrities (hot guys and
cute girls in Korean) suddenly idolized in any country. Aside from music, K-wave
also came from the Korean movies and
Korean dramas.
For
me personally, Kwave made me 'know' korea. Make me to know much about the
Korean country. Culture, language, food and others.
Annyeonghaseo.
Anio, gamsahanmida. Suddenly I just so
smart talking in Korean just by watching Korean drama -well, it looks like
that's all I can say-
One
of my biggest dream is going to be there, Korea. And of course I have a list of
what I wanted to do when I was there. Wanna know more? Check it out my list:
1. Eat a real kimchi! ^ ^
Of
course, here in Indonesia, especially in Jakarta, there are several Korean
restaurants and some of them I have tried. But i always wondering. WHAT real
kimchi feels like? I mean, although I've ever eaten kimchi here . But i am not
yet feel ther fresh and sour taste of kimchi. Ever watch Boys Over Flowers?
There is a scene where Geum Jan Di (female lead role) making kimchi at home and
eat diretly. Awww, LOOKS LIKE VERY FRESH!
And
the best thing ever, in Korea they have a kimchi museum. Wow, can you imagine
we can studying about kimchi, seeing the different types of kimchi and of
course training to make kimchi and eat it straight. Nom nom nom (i imagine my
self right now is eat kimchi)
2. Going to Jeju Island
Do
you know that there is a very beautifull waterfall in Jeju island? It named
Jeongbang waterfall. It really frequently seen by people. Why this waterfall is
so attracted? Because the waterfall is falling directly into the sea. I can’t
imagine how beautiful it is. Must be there and look at my own eyes. Things abut
more Jeju Island, the food! (Why its food again haha). Jeju island has known as
Korea's largest fresh seafood producer.
Jeju
island is one of Korea's largest island. And it has surrounded by the oceans.
It is possible to obtain fish and another seafood were very fresh. People say,
according to the taste. Fresh seafood from Jeju islad is has different taste.
In fact there is one show on cable television, named Kimchi Chronicle. In one
episode the host even eat sea urchins and shells immediately after fishing. And
he'd say its very yummy. (Sparkling eyes
of me)
Jeju
Island has a beautiful park too, filled by many flowers especially Conola. And
when its blooming, we can see the fresh-yellow Conola field everywhere whenever
our eyes seeing.
3. Take a romantic tour of "Winter Sonata" in Nami Island
Winter Sonata is a famous Korean drama. Roled by
Bae Yong Joon and Choi Ji Woo. This sad, beautiful drama series has placed Nami
Island as a background story. And since Winter Sonata, Nami Island become more
and more famous. And become trip destination. In there we can see a place from
the best scenes of Winter Sonata. There is Winter Sonata statue too. Reminding
about true love does exist.
Many couple go there and take a snap shot with the
statue; hoping they love is long last too. And sometimes manager of Nami Island
arrange some art show too. The scenery in Nami Island is beautiful. Kind of
uniquely beautiful. If we see a picture of forest of tree there, we can
recognize that is in Nami Island.
4. Go to Namsan tower and ride the cable car.
Many
of Korean drama there must be a scene at Namsan tower and the cable car. Let we
say; Boys Before Flower, etc.
Namsan
tower is one of the famous monument in Seoul and has its own uniqueness. Do you
know what is unique? Yes, thousands of love padlocks. There is a legend that
says, if you and your partner here dating and hooking padlock on the fence and
throw away the key. So our love will be eternal. Interesting, wanna try? J
The
famous of Namsan Tower make many movie producer outside Korea also took a
filming there. For example, Hello Stranger from Thailand.
5. Going to Naksan Park
Special for this, i really really want to go there after i watch Rooftop Prince drama. There is about half episode which is taken in Naksan Park. Its sooooooo, unique. Very artistic.
Naksan
is nestled on a hill, ‘nakta’ in Korean means camel while ‘san’ means mountain.
In Naksan, there ara so many grafiity, mural, unique statue, painting art. Even the
house of Naksan is kind of art. Very refreshing scenery.
6. Trip to the Palace
Seoul
has many palaces which now be a museum. Moreover, what makes us know the
history of a country other than visiting the palace? Looking around and to move
on Korean history, we are all can imagine what it was like to be the princess
in ancient times (well its me anyway).
Changdeokgung,
Gyeongbokgung, Deoksugung Palace is a few from many palace in Seoul. We can see
traditional Korean wearing by the guard there. Sometimes there are ceremony
too.
7. Seoul Trip!
My
last list, but not exactly last very. Because there so many things i want to do
more in Korea.
Seoul
trip would be great. Visiting shopping centre. Go to the rainbow bridge. Visiting
showbiz entertainment centre. It is possible if we can enter, let say, SM
Entertaintment or YG Entertainment building? No i am not intending to take a
photo or asking a sign. Just want to know how they practice. LOL.
Do
yu know, in my opinion Korean artist its very sale-able. Makes a very pleasant
marketing activities. Whatever brand they’re endorse, it will be famous brand
and of course, making a big sale.
