Once upon a time, there was a little girl who a bit clumsy, she was a little quite too. But, she reads a lot. Book was bring her into new world. She can be a princess in great kingdom, if she wants. Or she can be adventurer of the world in the other time. Sometimes her friend asking to playing around and do a little girl talk. But among of all, reading books is her most favourite act.
That's when time passes by...
When she was in junior high school and couldn't find any close friends for the first time. She acted to it casually. Because she found a treasure at her school : a library with a lot of good books! She felt blessed that she has no friend at a time. So she can came early, more early than any other just to come to school library and drowning between hundred books there. Every single day.
Most attracted books she can remember until now is encyclopedias about Greek history. Or we can say, Greek legend. That's when she knew about Phaethon the son of Helios, who was killed by Zeus because of his faux pass causing the earth to burn. In the other hand, she always remember about Aphrodite, the most beautiful goddes in the Olympus mountain.
And then she's start to making friends. Busy with teenage quarrel : studying, girls problem, boy crush, bullied and bullying, rebel time with parents, boy crush again. Things like that.
But like another 90's generation, she watched anime, she spend her full Sunday in just home. Watch all anime she can watched. Sometimes, some of the anime repackaged the Greek legend into something new. We can say some of them, Saint Saiya, 12 Ronin, you named it. Not to mention there is a 2 serial about Greek legend : Hercules and Xena.
Well, of course the 2 serial is waay, waaay off the mark from original legend. Still, she loved Xena, who was a great warrior of Amazon but then decided to take same path with Hercules, defending a bad world, rescuing the poor. She even has a joke with his father and her little brother. That, Ares, a God of War is their father, just because the similar name LOL ("look, Ares comes, Ares comes! Runnnn!") Haha.

She still love reading books. Science fiction was really attracted her, until now. Strangely, she love reads history too.
All history textbooks that she had, she already read before the class started. The most interesting parts for her is World War 2. She can not explain WHY, WHY she reallllly loved the story of WW2. She not a cruel person nor psycho one. She was cried about wars victim. She has goosebump if there any news about bombs attack.
But she can't help it. She has hate and love 'relationship' with Fuhrer. She think 'Fuhrer' is really awesome in his Germany Kaiser suit. Of course she really hate the real Hitler, who was kill millions people just for false beliefs. She thrilled about Hiroshima attacked by Ally. Pearl Harbour event was one of thousand things she like among of all.

She can't explain why. Is it because related about year 1945? A year when Indonesia have it indenpendence day? She really can not help about her desire onto WW2.
Then she became Japanese fangirl. And although she (also) have love and hate 'relationship' with Japan. Deepy hate about 1945 event, adore many side of Japan. She still enjoy being Japanese thing's fangirl.
Not to mention lot of movie and books about WW2 she watched and read.
Saving Private Ryan ("Ryan? James Francis Ryan? #mostthrilledscene), Hurt Locker, The Pianist (our handsome Adrien Brody!), Inglorious Bastard ("au revoiiiirrr, Sosana!"), Life of Beautiful (must watched movie all the time!), Flag of Our Father (for the sake of Ninomiya Kazunari), Fury, Amber Room (book) Boy in a Striped Pajama (book) and many more. You named it.

She's become Japanese fan-lady now (LOL), most attached into sci-fi things. Not shamed about her hobbies. And have a good friends to share it.
Now you can imagine how does she feel or how she thrilled and silently screaming when she watched Wonder Woman????
[Spoiler Alert]
Wonder Woman spin a yarn about Diana, a Amazon little princess who have been trained so hard by her mom and auntie. She trained to prepare of the impending war. Time pass by and Diana growth up just to find a fact about great war is happened out there. Outside their paradise land which is protected by the magical powers of Zeus. Decided to help the handsome Captain Steve (portrayed by Chris Pine), the innocent Diana is start her adventure to defending a bad power out there.
She....was literally crying. Crying silently because the thrilled moment while her husband not realized about it. And her husband just laugh when the movie is over but her tears are still left.
She felt in love deeply with Diana. How couldn't she? There is a time when Diana just babbling in front of the crowd "I wanna find Ares, he is responsible with this great war!"
Or an early time when she stared at her sword and say confidently "i will kill Ares and the war will stop eventually"
The clumsy talk between Diana and Captain Steve about sex and making love.
what can i say...Germany army suit is cool AF!
Or a time when Captain Steve buy her an fresh vanilla ice cream in the cone, she just scream to the shopman "oh my god this is so good, you must be proud!"
All of that is on a par with a time when Diana without thinking, stormed the front line of Germany.
Seized the village from the German army!
And time when Diana finally found Ares, or we can say Ares come to Diana. And tell the truth that Diana is also son of Zeus, so only her can kill Ares with her god power.
Well, what can we say? Captain Steve, who fall in love with Diana and loved by Diana too. Finally defeated because he decided to stop the poison bomb by himself. Diana, at the last can released her god power and kill Ares.
Beside unification of Greek legend and WW2 event which she really like (not Diana of course, the girl we talked about all this time). She amazed with Wonder Woman production team. The color. The angles. Event all the slow-mo moment is really fit it way. Not too much, is just fit. She is thrilled for 2 hours more. Definitely plan to watched it again!
Though she still wondering, Are the original story of Wonder Woman by DC Comics like this? Because as far as she can remember, Wonder Woman born from a chemical experiment. You can say it similar with Captain America from Marvel. No? Can some of DC fan explain? :)
The innocent-no-more Diana still live until now, at least in the DC Cinematic Universe (DCU). Still charming and beautiful AF.
And when Marvel Cinematic Universe start the fourth phase this year, DCU could be the refreshment of the noisy struggle for infinity stones. Ha.
Well, it will give lot of home work. Especially if you do not keep up with first installment of DCU. What movie to watch first?
I used to want to save the world, this beautiful place. But the closer you get, the more you see the great darkness within. I learnt this the hard way, a long, long time ago.
